Wanna Race?
I’m 4 weeks behind in writing, and have 2 weeks left in Japan. Want to bet which happens first?
OK, so I finished Golden week and wrote about: Tea Ceremony, Study Abroad at SCU, Kanda matsurei, kim-chee, fire drills, Thai presentations, ikebana, confectionary, and alumni lunches. Not bad. I’m currently working on Czech monsters, and will try to race through subsequent adventures and get caught up.
I’ve been reading Wil Wheaton’s blog (among others) and he wrote this big piece about writing just for fun, and not spending too much time on any one blog. Looking at other blogs, I’ve noticed that they’re often very short indeed. So I’ll see what I can do.
But next week is “finals” week with lots of pomp and circumstance (and dog and pony shows), so who knows how my time will go. There’s still lots of places I want to see, but I probably won’t get to see all of them…
Ah, well. As the Japanese say,”しかったがない” (“It can’t be helped.”)
